Carbon Valley Regional Library

The High Plains Library District’s 35,000-square-foot regional library beside Firestone Town Hall, the three towns’ library, open seven days a week with a full calendar of programs.

The district calls Carbon Valley Regional Library its regional library for the south-west of the district, a 35,000-square-foot building of about 105,000 items in Firestone’s Central Park civic cluster, next to Town Hall and the police building. It opens 9 to 8 Monday to Thursday, 10 to 5 Friday and Saturday and 1 to 5 on Sunday, with holiday hours posted separately; the phone is the district’s. Its programs, from storytimes to an adult D&D night, are on the events page here, and it co-hosts the Town’s Art & Music Show each autumn.
