Miners Memorial Museum

Frederick’s history museum in the original 1900s Town Hall, moved to Crist Park and made a Colorado Historic Landmark in 2012; open the first Friday evening of each month, at some Town events and by appointment.

The museum occupies the original Frederick Town Hall, relocated to Crist Park, and has been a Colorado Historic Landmark since 26 January 2012. Members of the Town’s Historic Preservation Committee, who collect and arrange the exhibits, tell the stories of the coal camp that became the town. It opens on the first Friday of the month from 5 to 7 pm, during some Town events (Miners Day, Music in the Park), and on request through the Town Clerk’s office, which also takes donations of historical items. The remaining 2026 openings are 6 November and 4 December.
