Saddleback Golf Club
Firestone’s public 18-hole course on the site of the old McKissick coal mine, with a tavern open Wednesday to Sunday, an indoor simulator, leagues, junior programs and a wedding and events venue; hours follow the season.
Saddleback runs men’s, ladies’ and senior leagues, PGA Junior League and seasonal junior programs, tournaments and outings, and an indoor Trackman simulator, on ground the Town’s History page identifies as the former McKissick Mine. The Tavern serves Wednesday to Sunday from 11 am to 8 pm, with hot dogs, brats and breakfast burritos from the counter when it is closed. The club says its hours depend on the season.
