Park

Centennial Park

Frederick’s festival park on Eighth Street: an amphitheater, big open fields, a playground, picnic shelters, a five-station fitness loop, a bouldering area and mountain views; home to Miners Day, Frederick in Flight and Chainsaws & Chuckwagons.

The Town lists an amphitheater, art, benches, a boulder-climbing area, a fitness-station loop, a multi-use field, parking, picnic shelters and tables, a playground, restrooms and trails, with what it calls outstanding views of the Rockies. It is where the Town stages its biggest days: Miners Day in September, the Frederick in Flight balloon festival in June and Chainsaws & Chuckwagons in July, each with a Frederick Market of vendors. The Town publishes no park hours.
