Trail
Legacy Trail
A ten-foot concrete trail with a parallel crusher-fines jogging path on the old Union Pacific right-of-way, with a landscaped trailhead at Colorado 52 and Colorado Boulevard: Dacono’s first stretch of the St. Vrain Legacy Trail.
The City annexed the former Union Pacific right-of-way in 2007 to build the trail, and the first alignment is finished: a ten-foot concrete path paired with a three-foot crusher-fines jogging path, with trailhead landscaping at the corner of Colorado 52 and Colorado Boulevard. When the full Dacono alignment is complete it will link six subdivisions with parks and shops as Dacono’s piece of the cooperative St. Vrain Legacy Trail.
